Not able to receive Domain Notification E-mails.

If you are not receiving important communication about your domain, it's possible that your domain contact information is incorrect.

You should always ensure that you have access to the e-mail addresses that are associated with your Point2 domain and if you know that you're going to no longer have access to the e-mail address on file, you should update the e-mail before losing access to the mailbox.

The e-mail address for your Point2 account is not connected to your domain associated e-mail address. These two services are managed separately, as you retain access to your domain's control, even if you decide not to continue your Point2 Agent membership.

Cannot Access the e-mails, or not receiving them?

If you are no longer able to access the e-mail address, or for some reason, you are not receiving the updates, you will need to perform a manual update of your administrative information.

This can be a long and complicated process, but as a part of our commitment to data security and integrity, we respect the rules and regulations imposed on all domain registrations by ICANN.

ICANN (The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) is a nonprofit organization responsible for coordinating the maintenance and procedures for domain names. Like any domain registrar, we are required to fulfill their requirements in accordance to their guidelines.

In order to perform a manual update the domain registration information for a domain, we will require the following:

  • Your government-issued photo identification
  • If a company is listed on your account: Business documentation of your company

Note: If your domain registration information includes an Organization, you will also be required to provide the Business documentation stated above. This usually comes in the form of government or local authority issued registration information or tax documents.

Under no circumstances, are we able to override domain registration information without these documents being sent to us, as they are required by our up-stream registrar, who use them to demonstrate full ownership of the domain.
