There might be times in which images you want to upload to your listings will require rotating. Rotating a photo is quick and easy, each system comes with the ability to easily flip an image to the correct orientation and here's how you can do this easily on both Windows PCs and Macs running a modern operating system.
For Windows Users
First, you will need to locate the file on your computer and right click it's icon in order to show the "Open with" menu:
The default application installed on all Windows computers running Windows 7 onwards is "Windows Photo Viewer".
Select this application from the list and your photo will open. Then, using the controls at the bottom, rotate the image in the direction that you need in order for it to be displayed the correct way.
For Mac Users
The process will depend whether you are using the native Mac "Photos" application or if you are opening an image which you have stored on your computer as separate files.
Separate files will usually open with the native application called "Preview", which will allow you to easily rotate the image as follows:
Open the image and select "Tools" from the top menu bar and then Rotate Left / Right, depending on which direction you require.
You may then be asked to save the changes.
If you are using the application "Photos", the steps are as follows:
Locate the photo in your library and select the "Edit" button at the top right.
A panel will reveal on the right side which will allow you to rotate the image as required.
