Renew domain name

There are two options when it comes to renewing domain names. First and most convenient is to set your domains to auto-renew. This allows your domain name to be automatically renewed for as many years as you specify, without having to worry about forgetting to renew your domain name as it nears expiration. Second, you can manually renew your domain name for 1 year or up to 10 years in one transaction.

The cost to renew a domain name is $16.95 a year. Your credit card will not be billed if the domain is not successfully renewed. You will receive a notice of pre-authorization and then a billing confirmation.

To manually renew:

  • Sign in to your Point2 account at (be sure to sign in with the username and password that corresponds with the user who purchased the domain)
  • Click Renew Domain Name on the right in the Related Links box
  • A list of your domain names available for renewal will appear
  • Choose the domain name by checking the box and click Add to Cart
  • Click Proceed to Checkout
  • You will see a summary of the items in your cart and can select how many years you would like to add on
  • Click Proceed to Checkout
  • Your page will refresh with the total cost of the renewal
  • Enter your credit card information (either VISA or MasterCard)
