When you assign a listing to the Property Site, it is given a default domain name based on the listing address. To choose a default domain for your Property Site website, follow these instructions:
- Sign in to your Point2 account at login.point2.com
- Click Websites from the top menu
- Click Property Sites
- Click Edit for the Property Site you want to make changes to
- Hover over Manage Website at the top of the page
- Click Set Default Domain
- Choose the domain from the drop down menu
- Click Save
If you have the Professional or Elite membership it's nice to create a subdomain that is easier to advertise and remember for the Property Site.
To create a subdomain:
- Sign in to your Point2 account at login.point2.com
- Click Websites from the top menu
- Click Manage Domains
- Click the green add subdomain button next to the domain name
- Type in what you want the subdomain to be
- You may want to use the address of the listing such as 123teststreet
- Click Save
- Your page will refresh to allow you to select the Property Site product
- Click Apply Changes
Once the subdomain is assigned to the Property Site, you can go set it as the default domain by following the instructions at the top of this page.
